WHERE AND WHEN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop will take place at the top floor <\/strong>of the Physikalischer Verein building<\/strong> [see map<\/a>], on June 15 to 17, 2026<\/strong>.

The Physikalischer Verein (<\/strong>Physics Association) traces its foundation back to a suggestion of<\/a> Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The association building is a historical place for physics: in 1922 Otto Stern and Walther Gerlach realised the important Stern-Gerlach experiment<\/strong>, proving the quantization of the intrinsic angular momentum as predicted by the then-newborn quantum mechanics.
