ABOUT
WHERE AND WHEN
The workshop will take place at the top floor of the Physikalischer Verein building [see map], on June 15 to 17, 2026.
The Physikalischer Verein (Physics Association) traces its foundation back to a suggestion of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The association building is a historical place for physics: in 1922 Otto Stern and Walther Gerlach realised the important Stern-Gerlach experiment, proving the quantization of the intrinsic angular momentum as predicted by the then-newborn quantum mechanics.
