HOW TO REACH US
From Frankfurt Airport (FRA) to city central train station (Hbf):
- Tickets (airport to city): Single trip (6.90€), day ticket (13.50€), group day ticket (22.50€, up to 5 people).
- Train (S-Bahn) : lines S8 or S9
The closest station to the workshop location [see map] is Bockenheimer Warte, which can be reached by bus, tram or U-Bahn.
From the city to the workshop location :
- Tickets (inner city): Single trip (3.80€), day ticket (7.75€), group day ticket (14.80€, up to 5 people).
- Metro (U-Bahn): lines U4, U5, U6, U7 to Bockenheimer Warte. [See map] .
- Bus: lines M32, M36 to Bockenheimer Warte [See map] .
- Tram: line 16 to Bockenheimer Warte [See map] .
From Bockenheimer Warte to the Physikalischer Verein building [see map] is a 5 minutes walk. Follow the dinosaurs and turn right after the Senckenberg Natural History Museum !
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- The city airport is Frankfurt Flughafen (FRA).
- The Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN) is NOT in Frankfurt am Main!
From HHN the city can be reached via FLIBCO bus (20.99€ and 2.10 h). - The App RMVgo is the official app of the city to find live transport information in Frankfurt am Main and buy online tickets (Paypal necessary).
- Travel tickets can be bought at every metro station from automatic machines.
- The Frankfurt central train station is Frankfurt Hauptbahnof (Hbf).
- The workshop location is at the top floor of the Physikalischer Verein building.
- Crash-course in german: S-bahn (Trains), U-bahn (Metro)

CONFERENCE DINNER
The workshop’s dinner will take place on Tuesday 16th of June 2026 at 19:00. The restaurant is Zum Adler in Ginnheim [see map].
To reach it from the Physikalischer Verein one can take the line 16 of Tram at the stop Bockenheimer Warte (equivalently line 16 at the stop Varrentrappstraße) to the stop Ginnheim Mitte. From there it’s a 10 minutes walk to the restaurant.
