I am a PhD student at Institute for Theoretical Physics, Goethe University Frankfurt. My research interests focus on extreme processes occurring around compact objects such as black holes and neutron stars, including accretion, relativistic jets and binary mergers. With the experience of semi-analytically studying the launching process of relativistic jets in strong gravitational fields in stationary spacetime, I am trying to extend the jet equations to more general and dynamic spacetime, and find the connection between jets created by binary mergers and by supermassive black holes.
