I started my PhD, funded with a scholarship by the Hans-Böckler-Stiftung, in November 2025 in the RelAstro group of Prof. Luciano Rezzolla at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the Goethe-University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. I also have completed my Bachelor and Master Thesis in the RelAstro group.

Research Interests

I am particularly interested in black holes and alternative descriptions of them such as regular black holes, black hole mimickers and ultra-compact objects. I am also very interested in more formal aspects of gravity.

Previously, I have worked on a specific class of black hole mimickers, namely gravastars, and have found nested solutions of them. Further, I have created a model to describe the collapse of a homogeneous pressureless dust sphere to a gravastar, describing for the first time in 25 years the formation of gravastars, starting from a continuous matter distribution whilst also staying completely within general relatvity.

My future research goals include the formation of regular black holes, black hole mimickers and ultra-compact objects. For this, I want to extend my current model of gravastar formation to more realistic fluids with pressure. I also want to look at how quantum effects can contribute to the formation of these objects.
