I am a post-doc in the relativistic Astrophysics group of Prof. Luciano Rezzolla at Institute for Theoretical Physics at the Goethe University of Frankfurt. I obtained my PhD at University of Bonn in 2013, working on: “The spectral evolution in Blazars” under the supervision of Prof. Eduardo Ros (Max-Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy) and Prof. Manel Perucho (Universitat de Valencia).
My research is focused on the numerical simulation of the kinematics and the spectral evolution of parsec-scales jets. I have developed an emission code which can be coupled to relativistic magneto-hydrodynamics (RMHD) codes and computes the non-thermal and thermal emission. The results of these simulations can be compared to Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) observations can help to improve our understanding of the underlying physical processes in relativistic jets.
